This truly is one of my favorite East Zion routes. I've looped in and out of this area a dozen times over the years.

Most people driving up and down I-15 don't even notice, between the gap in the mountains, the towering monoliths known as the Five Fingers section of Kolob in Zion National Park. For me this section of the park is a nice reprieve when I'm looking for a short afternoon hike.

the only problem with Snow Canyon is it's a climbers paradise not necessarily a scramblers paradise. The majestic rock faces are riddled with cracks and ribbons of ledges for anyone seeking a "vertical" experience and many of the routes are 5.10 or better. The pickings are considerable smaller for a scrambler like myself.
