East Reef & UNP 3900 via Little Purgatory and Historic Babylon Trails

The Historic Babylon trail is stunning as it follows a cliff band along a gorge of rough rock and brush.  The path cuts along the northern side the trail follows the canyon until a crossing is possible.  I follow along, stopping from time to time to take pictures and finally finishing my last bottle of water.

UNP 5915 and The Point - Beryl Junction - UT, quad

Because of the mountainous area, many peaks contain radio or microwave towers near the summit. I log these as a drive to the summit, and on cold days like today, I can still get out and enjoy reaching a mountain top.

Big Hill and Tecumseh Hill - Hurricane - UT, quad; White Dome - St. George - UT quad

I opted to return to the White Dome Nature Preserve trailhead and follow the White Dome, then the Highland trails creating an enjoyable loop that reaches the higher elevations of these rolling domed hills.
