Here is a list of what I read this week. All articles from the Wall Street Journal will require a subscription (sorry); most blog posts are from writers that have piqued my interest for one reason or another.
Books
The Big Dark Sky by Dean Koontz. Reading. I’m 27% completed. Mr. Koontz has a unique way of threading all the various stories at the beginning of his books. I’m still in that hit-and-miss beginning of the story.
Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. Reading. I’m 4% complete. I made no progress in reading this book this week. The information is dense and takes time to absorb, and I didn’t take the time this week.
I, Asimov: A Memoir by Isaac Asimov. Reading. I’m 13% complete. Anyone who thinks their life is boring in childhood should read the first 18 chapters of Mr. Asimov’s book. I’m fascinated that he could write so much detail about growing up. Essentially, he enjoyed reading, and his parents owned a candy store.
