This is a nice piece of Bacon Opal or Bubble Opal from the Bacon Opal private claim near Milford, Utah. It is a rare stone as it is only found at this one mine. I was privileged enough to go rock hunting there with the owners. It measures 34mm by 23mm and is 7mm thick. It weighs 5.55g and 27.75ct.
