My flock of Buff Orpington and Americana chickens have started laying eggs again. They are pastured hens (they are able to eat bugs, grass, and seeds at will) and there are three mature roaster with the flock. Update - two hens started sitting. I have about 4 dozen eggs a week for sale, both green and brown.
These eggs are going for $3 a dozen or $1.75 for a half a dozen - you will need to provide your own carton. Again, these are pastured, organic, specialty eggs. Store bought eggs that are organic or pastured hens are going for the same amount and my eggs are so very fresh.
